Sandcastle

Enjoy a relaxing escape to the Yorkshire coast at Sandcastle, a spacious two-bedroom apartment at The Expanse in Bridlington. Set on the second floor with lift access, it offers lovely sea views and a private balcony, just a short stroll from North Beach. With room for four guests and two bathrooms, plus free parking in the private car park, Sandcastle is a comfortable base for couples, friends and families.

Room to unwind – Relax in the separate sitting room after a day exploring the coast. There is plenty of space to spread out, with Wi-Fi and TVs for quieter evenings in.

Well-equipped kitchen – Prepare meals with an oven, hob, microwave and fridge. A dishwasher and washing machine make self-catering stays easier, and the dining area seats four guests.

Bedroom One – The main bedroom has a double bed, a TV and its own en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Two bathrooms – In addition to the en-suite shower room, the main bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower.

Bedroom Two – Twin single beds and access to the balcony make this a handy choice for children, friends or guests who prefer separate beds.

Private balcony and sea views – Step outside for fresh coastal air and views towards Bridlington’s coastline. Enjoy a morning coffee or a peaceful moment between seaside outings.

Dog-friendly stay – One small to medium-sized dog can be added to your booking for £15 per stay. Please include your dog when booking. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the apartment.

The Area

The Expanse stands on North Marine Drive overlooking North Beach – a 1937 Art Deco landmark and one of Bridlington’s best-known seafront buildings. From the front door you can step out onto the promenade, head down to the sands or stroll along the seafront towards the harbour and town centre.

Bridlington Harbour is a working fishing harbour, lovely for an evening wander or fish and chips by the water, while a little further inland the historic Old Town has independent shops, cafés and characterful streets to explore. Sewerby Hall and Gardens, set on the clifftops just north of town, is a popular day out for families.

Nature lovers will enjoy the dramatic chalk cliffs around Flamborough Head, with clifftop walks and lighthouse views, and in spring and summer RSPB Bempton Cliffs is home to thousands of nesting seabirds, sometimes including puffins. Add in coastal walks, beaches and seaside outings, and there’s plenty to fill your days at your own pace.
