Welcome to Archie’s Place, a stunning contemporary and spacious two bedroom ground floor apartment in the centre of Headingley. Perfectly Located to enjoy this vibrant part of Leeds, with some top rated pubs and restaurants just a short walk away. It also has great transport links for those wanting to venture into Leeds City Centre.

The Space

Guests have exclusive access to the whole apartment with a fully equipped kitchen including Dolce Gusto Coffee machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and a washing machine in the utility area. 

The Living / Dining Area boasts a large comfortable curved sofa with a smart TV, pre loaded with Netflix to allow you cuddle up and catch up on your favourite box sets after a day exploring the local area. The Dining Area has seating for four.

Bedroom 1 has a large double bed with ample storage in the large mirrored wardrobes. There are two bedside tables with USB wall sockets to allow guests to easily charge personal devices.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds and a stylish stand-alone open wardrobe for storage. 

The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet and sink. 

Guests also have sole use of the outside garden / area in the summer with seating for four.

We allow guests to bring 1-2 small / medium size dogs with them on their stay for a small one of payment of £50.

The Area

Food and Drink

Headingley has an excellent food and drink scene, ranging from independent cafes to well-known restaurants. Salvo’s Italian restaurant, winner of Best Local Italian Restaurant on Gordon Ramsay’s programme ‘The F Word’, is a must. Topping the TripAdvisor rankings is Santorini Bar & Grill, their Greek and Turkish dishes in a relaxed atmosphere are proving a hit. Or get stuck in to a huge plate of BBQ at Red’s True Barbecue. For something a little less formal try White’s Deli or The Cat’s Pyjamas. Call into White’s Deli for a chilled brunch or coffee and cake. Visit The Cat’s Pyjamas for delicious Indian street food and craft beer.

That’s just the start of it, with many more excellent eateries you’re spoilt for choice.

Nightlife

The nightlife in Headingley always proves popular, there are a number of great bars and pubs to choose from.

In fact, famous Leeds pub-crawl ‘The Otley Run’ takes you straight through the centre of Headingley, calling in at most of the venues there. Part of the fun is the fancy dress…so don’t be alarmed if you see a group of oddly dressed individuals in the pubs and bars. Fans of a pint can call into The Head of Steam, Original Oak, Headingley Taps and Arcadia. Looking for a cocktail? Try Arc, The Box and Trio.

Things to Do

Pay a visit to the world-famous Headingley Stadium site home to Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Yorkshire Carnegie Rugby Union Football Club and Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Football Club. Yorkshire County Cricket Club have won 33 Championship titles; the most successful team in English Cricket. Learn more about the club at the Yorkshire Cricket Museum in the East Stand at Headingley Cricket Ground.

Catch a film at Cottage Road Cinema, one of the oldest cinemas in the UK. They’ve been entertaining all ages with films since 1912 but, don’t worry, the technology has been updated since then. Watch all the latest films at this lovely Headingley attraction.

The Bowery is an Art Gallery, café and events space in one venue. Call in to admire their latest exhibition or take part in a workshop. Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre (HEART) is also home to a number of events including concerts, creative workshops, films and more.

Shopping

The Arndale Centre is a small shopping centre located in central Headingley where you find a Sainsburys, Wilkinsons, Superdrug, Post Office and more for all your essentials.

Keys to the property are stored in a lock box and the code with be provided to the guest on the morning of check-in.

There is ample on-street parking directly outside. A permit will be provided for the duration of your stay.
