Perched on the fourth floor of The Expanse on Bridlington’s North Beach seafront, The Crows Nest is a spacious two-bedroom apartment with sea views, a rooftop terrace and two en-suite bedrooms. Bright, open-plan and easy to settle into, it’s a welcoming base for couples, friends or families looking for a relaxing break on the Yorkshire coast.
Bright Open-Plan Living Space – At the heart of The Crows Nest is a light-filled, open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, with big windows looking out over Bridlington. Gather around the dining table for a relaxed breakfast or a home-cooked supper, then sink into the comfortable corner sofa after a walk along the seafront. Wi-Fi and a Smart TV are provided, so there’s room to unwind together whether you’re here for a weekend or a longer holiday.
Well-Equipped Kitchen – The modern kitchen makes self-catering simple, with a fridge, a dishwasher to help with the clearing up, a wine cooler for your favourite drinks and all the cooking basics. A washing machine adds extra flexibility for longer stays.
Bedroom One – A calm, comfortable bedroom with a king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made up as twin singles on request. It has its own Smart TV and en-suite bathroom, giving everyone space and privacy. Please let us know your preferred bed arrangement at least seven days before arrival.
Two En-Suite Bathrooms – Each bedroom has its own en-suite. One features both a bath and a separate walk-in shower, so you can choose between a leisurely soak and a quick refresh; the other has a walk-in shower.
Bedroom Two – The second bedroom also has a king-size zip-and-link bed that can be arranged as twin singles on request, along with its own Smart TV and en-suite – ideal for friends travelling together or families who prefer separate beds.
Rooftop Terrace – Make the most of the coastal setting on the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy the fresh sea air and panoramic views across Bridlington and the coastline. It’s a lovely spot for a morning coffee, a pause between outings or winding down as the day draws to a close.
Dog-Friendly Stay – One small to medium-sized dog is welcome at The Crows Nest for £15; please include your dog when you book. With the seafront and promenade right outside, there’s plenty of fresh sea air for you both.
The Area
The Expanse stands on North Marine Drive overlooking North Beach – a 1937 Art Deco landmark and one of Bridlington’s best-known seafront buildings. From the front door you can step out onto the promenade, head down to the sands or stroll along the seafront towards the harbour and town centre.
Bridlington Harbour is a working fishing harbour, lovely for an evening wander or fish and chips by the water, while a little further inland the historic Old Town has independent shops, cafés and characterful streets to explore. Sewerby Hall and Gardens, set on the clifftops just north of town, is a popular day out for families.
Nature lovers will enjoy the dramatic chalk cliffs around Flamborough Head, with clifftop walks and lighthouse views, and in spring and summer RSPB Bempton Cliffs is home to thousands of nesting seabirds, sometimes including puffins. Add in coastal walks, beaches and seaside outings, and there’s plenty to fill your days at your own pace.
Whether you’re planning beach days with the family or a relaxing break with friends, The Crows Nest offers a comfortable base on the Yorkshire coast. The wider Expanse building is being renovated gradually, while the apartments stay open for guests as usual. Discover more places to stay in the town on our Accommodation in Bridlington page.
